it depends on your inseam. I'n 5'9" and i find the 53 perfect. You could either get yourself fitted at your LBS or find someone with a 50 and 53 and ride both.

I built this in 2 days, and I thought I was going to buy some clipless pedals soon but that didn't happen, so I put some spare pedals on.
They are light and stiff, perfect for it's price.
