i myself ride with track pedals .. i heard lots of good responses from my friends about clipless :D

but for me i would say get a track pedals with cages if u r riding ur bike to hang around with friends,cause if u r using road clipless u will need another pair of shoes everytime u ride ur bike .. and if ur using mountain clipless i dont think its looks as nice as road clipless hehe

sorry for cut off ur conversation, i wanna say one advantage of using mtb cleats are many shoes options available. just call DZR shoes or chrome shoes and etc because the DZR and chrome have a casual or sneaker shoes for riding if you are a bit uncomfortable with the appearance of regular shimano or sidi or giro maybe wich too much like the robot shoes i thought hahaha
