buys unnecessary high end front wheel. Installs it backwards. Good job!

what is the purpose of running a front hed 3 ? everyone uses them but I can't imagine it being for anything other than looks

It's not just the looks of the hed 3 that everyone gets it and in the front too. its because the rim is so light & aerodonymic and is great in any wind conditions and cuts right threw the wind and, it performs the best in the front thats why everyone gets a front hed 3 instead of a rear still one of the best rims still to this day :)

@HectorAguirre: Idiot. They aren't that light and I'm pretty sure they would preform just as poorly as a Zipp 404 in cross winds. The thick blades may cut through the wind, but they suck for cross winds. Plus, this guy installed his wrong. Its backwards. HED developed the wheels blades with aerodynamics in mind, so one side of each blade is thicker than the other. If you put the wheel on backwards, the fat part of the blade is hitting the wind, not the skinny aero part, Rendering the wheel completely useless. In my opinion, the HED 3 is all hype.
