Hi ! I just bought a Ritchey carbon handlebar but im afraid that it breaks during hill climbing or skidding
Have you ever had a problem like this ?
Posted about 7 years ago
What size Durano did you fit? 23 or 25c?
Posted almost 8 years ago
25c with these wheels being 25mm wide. Could probably use 23c but I prefer the comfortable ride

very nice build!! how is the 54cm working for you? i am in between getting a 54/56
thanks!
Posted about 8 years ago
I like 54.. the 56 would have fit me also but smaller frame is easier to throw around and probably stiffer I don't know :p
Posted almost 8 years ago
well developed for sure, but those ergo bars destroy an otherwise beautiful flow
Posted over 8 years ago
Nice build ! isn't it feels a bit small ? 54cm has 53,5 cm top tube. For a dude 180 ish height looks a bit small..
Posted over 8 years ago
Yeah, maybe. I can ride both 54cm and 56cm. I have riden a 56cm with a shorter stem and it fits me fine. But I'm kinda in between sizes and I prefer smaller frames with higher seat posts and long stems. I feel more in control of the bike.

i hate cinelli but this is very nice. the wheels are dope!
Posted over 9 years ago
Thanks. I put risors on it from time to time, but this is the race bike.. So it needs drops

how do you like your hed belgiums? amazing build btw!
Posted about 10 years ago
Thanks man! The rims are solid! I went for the Belgium+ which are slightly wider still at 25mm and they are so nice for the street. Safe to say I'm never selling this wheelset ;)

Fantastic build, very individual look. The big question is though, is it good for skids?
Posted about 10 years ago
One word.. Biblical! And a few other words.. Love this thing.. Such a superb build. Love how this is your weekend thrashed. This would be most people's dream builds.. Killed it

I love your setup!!
how's the toe overlap on this frame though? is it hard to maneuver in the traffic?
Posted over 10 years ago
Thanks man,
Yeah, there is a lot of overlap but you get used to it. Lean into turns, and go gently around cars in traffic :P

nice build, ihope i can built cinelli parallax to,
can i know, how tall are you?
which one better? parallax or kagero?
Posted over 10 years ago
Thanks mate.
I'm roughly 180 cm tall and this size 45cm is perfect for me.
And of course I much prefer the parallax over the Kagero, but they are very different frames. The Kagero is a more aggressive geometry which does feel nice to ride but I found I would get a sore lower back on rides over 50km.
The Parallax is not as aggressive as it does not have the positive rise top tube, but it does have a slightly tighter wheel base (true track geometry) and is very responsive. I think its better for street mashing personally, much more comfortable in the drops than I was on the kagero. Its also a Cinelli, which many would argue is a better quality frame than the Leader.
I hope this helps.

hello, I just bought parallax, if allowed to know for his seatpost using 27.2 or 31.6
Posted over 10 years ago
Cool pics, much better than the ones on Instagram ;)
Posted over 10 years ago
Thanks, yeh.. Instagram compresses photos so much they always look terrible
Posted over 10 years ago
why there is a hole in the fork ? Isn't it suppose to be plugged and painted ?
Posted over 10 years ago
Yeah I thought so to.. But no big deal, I'm going to try and rig up a front led in there..
Posted over 10 years ago
the frame you have is from the first parallax delivery or from the second one ? they were suppose to fix this in the second delivery.
Posted over 10 years ago
it was the first batch into Australia so the second batch might be different. I might find cool cinelli button to put over it..?

Woo finally pics of the riders on pedal room hehe. Just realised it's you from IG. These photos and parts are mint! Rotor stem Damn. You preferred the Phil BB over the 75s bb? Well now it's my turn, frame came and its sitting at work while I'm overseas errr. Stay tuned!
Posted over 10 years ago
Thanks man, I went for PhilWood BB so I don't hate to overhaul of everytime I ride through a puddle. Can't wait to see yours!
Posted over 10 years ago
Love the build dude. Still like looking at your kagero though lol
Posted over 10 years ago
Very nice, good taste.
I think the Parallax is the only Cinelli track frame I like. The Mash frames look silly.
Posted over 10 years ago
I've never seen that model of "track drops". What is it that makes them "track"?
Posted over 10 years ago
I think the only thing that makes them 'track' drops is the lack of brake cable groove which most bars have.. I didn't want bars with that groove because of the thin cloth tape I am using. Also because of the angles it really only has 2 hand positions, top or drops.. there isn't really much of a grip for the top reach position where hoods would normally sit.. but I'm just making that last bit up :p
Posted over 10 years ago
Track drops have a deeper drop and the curve starts closer to the stem. There is nothing "track" about these bars. A lot of road bars don't have grooves for cable routing.
Posted over 10 years ago
I suppose you are right, they aren't conventional track bars.
Posted over 10 years ago
I don't mean this in any mean or rude sense, but there's literally nothing track about them besides that they're on a bike that COULD be classified as a track bike.
Posted over 10 years ago
Love those rims! Can't wait for them to come out in a lower spoke count.
Posted over 10 years ago
Thanks, these are 28 spoke.. I wouldn't go any lower personally unless it was a track only bike

I was always scared of anything under 32, but raced a season of CX and did a few rough gravel centuries on some 24/20 wheels and they were just fine. I plan to build the Belgium+ in 28/24 for this CX season.
Killer bike though. I miss my Mash :(
