I'm 6'0" do you think a 53 would fit?
Posted over 11 years ago
I don't think so, you can probably go with the 55. Measure your inseem then look at the histogram geometry chart on mashsf to get the right size for you.

Sweet! Sorry for such a late response, I very rarely get on here anymore.

Nice Histogram! How tall are you? And is the 58 a good fit for you? I'm debating what size I should go with for my next build.
Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks! I'm 6 feet tall. The histogram geometry is different than most "track" frames, I could probably have gone down one size or two on the frame. I got. 58 but could probably do a little smaller of a size.

ok thanks. Yeah I'm 6'4", but prefer a slightly smaller frame so I'm wondering if a 55 or 57 (I'm planning on going with the Bolt) would be better for me.
Posted over 11 years ago
Being that your taller than me, the 58 may work for you. I just feel that when I'm on the track with it and riding around town I could go down one size.

gotcha. thanks for the insight. I'm a fellow Floridian too. From Tampa, but live up in VA now.

nicely build mash .. love it !

Thanks! I appreciate it. Been taking it to the velodrome that's about 3 and 1/2 hours away from me the past couple weekends and I am even more in love when how this bike came out. Performs great in the streets and great on the track( even though its not a "true" track frame)

odd faceplate bolts??????
Posted almost 12 years ago
the faceplate bolts on the stem are part of the MASH SF/atomic 22 security system. Two bolts are normal, two are made of titanium from atomic 22 and they make unique sets of bolts for all areas of the bicycle for security. Each set has it's own unique key to prevent theft. It is such an amazing system. As you see I have the security on the faceplate, top cap, front wheel, and I have more pieces still to put on crank bolt, pedals, rear wheel. Go to atomic22.com to see what the product is all about.

ahhh fair play, they will still have your omniums tho.., where im from if they cant steal your bike then they'll trash it trying
Posted almost 12 years ago
First, you never lock a valuable bike up anywhere where you can't see it for more than a couple minutes. This way if someone did try to steal it they wouldn't have enough time to trash it. This bike will most likely not be locked up many places ever, if I can't take it in with me I won't be making any stops haha.
And second, crank security bolts are here as well ;)

dont get me wrong im up on security e.g where?how long?can i see it? ect. i couldnt see any security bolts for self extracting GXP only shimano HT2 and square taper
Posted almost 12 years ago
Yea they don't have them for omniums cranks yet, I have the bolts for the new dura ace crankset I'm getting to replace the omniums.

Did you have any chainline issues with the Ellipse wheels and Omnium crankset?
