Colnago C40

My Colnago C40 2004 with top of the line Colnago star fork. Current pictures have been taken by the previous owner, so they are not my property. Weight around 7,8kg not a weight weenie, but a loyal companion!

Frame:
Colnago C40 56cm art decor paint scheme

Fork/Headset:
Colnago carbon star forks with DA 1" threadless headset (rare! Too bad it's in bad condition)

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
Shimano DA 7700

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
9sp Shimano DA 7700

Derailleurs/Shifters:
Shimano DA 7700 shifters + deraileurs

Handlebars/Stem:
At the moment Thomson elite x2 (going to change, perhaps syntace or 3T) Carbon bars

Saddle/Seatpost:
Selle Italia SLR carbon with Colnago carbon post

Brakes:
Shimano DA 7700

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Mavic Cosmic + veloplugs

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
Mavic Cosmic + veloplugs

Accessories:
For now it has old Tacx bottlecages, haven't yet figured out if I wanna go for old school look or carbon fiber starwars look.

More Info:
My lover. Headset is in bad condition, going to update it to a chris king. I Also would like to build classic looking tubular rims, maybe Ambrosio Cronos with Shimano DA hubs...

hmm, have u ever heard of Mapei? Sure they didn't use Shimano on their bikes and won, well, everything.
And besides, I like the shimano way of changing gears. It suits me better than campagnolo's #Mickey Mouse."
But yeah, I can see your point.
