I've always been fascinated with the Belgian colours and when the chance came to do a custom paint job with Colossi Cycling on the bespoke Accelerator frameset, I took the opportunity to do something truly different. The colour scheme of pastel blue, red, white and dark grey takes on a uniquely Belgian flavour. The Lion of Flanders on the head tube and monostay represents the Spring Classic that takes in the cobbled climbs of the Flemmish Ardennes. The fleur-de-lis on the downtube and fork is a stylized lily (in French, fleur means "flower", and lis means "lily") which also happens to be my wife's favourite flower. And yes, it will remind me of her whenever I am out cycling (I hope she reads this).
