This bike was originally a prototype-singlespeed-cross frame for the now disbanded Flwrider cycling crew. Based off the Colossi CX Rambler frame with some tweaks to the frame dimensions and built by fillet brazed Columbus Max tubing. I switched out the original fork and eventually turned the bike into my everyday commuter. Used and abused for a good four years so far and still a solid city ride. It's not the prettiest or coolest or shiniest bike out there, but it gets ridden to work everyday and helps me pick up groceries, plants, drawings, models, materials, laundry and cats. Originally raw clear coat finish, now it's been painted by wear and tear from different Asian cities (Hong Kong, Beijing, Taipei). Thanks Jan and Colossi for giving me a way to keep my carbon footprint low and continue to do so for the years to come. Photos by Sara Fernandez Almendariz.
