Planning on getting one. Been looking at the colossiones here and noticed that you guys use oversized stems. just wondering if the head tube is OS or standard. coz according to the specs, it's a 1 incher.

I have the same frame with a threadless carbon fork as well, so I was wondering if I should find a shim to make the steerer tube 1 1/8" or a stem than can clamp 1"?

I use 1 1/8 stem and shim..in a way the shim protects my carbon steerer when i tighten it... i recommend using FSA expansion plug with cap if ure using carbon steerer fork

What exactly does the expansion plug do? Or rather how is it different from a regular cap and nut. Also, what size spacers did you use for the steerer tube?

A regular star nut wouldn't be able to hold and would scrape the inside of a carbon tube when tightened. A compression plug will expand and hold a lot better, as long as it is not over tightened. It is dangerous to use a star nut

The ride is nice... frame is abit heavier than cinelli bolt but u can opt for columbus stradium instead of aluminium 6061 but i like it...from previous experiences, light does not equal nice ride unless ure riding indoors on a track
