Now that the winter's past us can finally use slicks and get on with the proper riding. Have made som initial travel plans for the summer, purchased gear and such(but not gears, atleast not yet) now I just need to find the free time. Had 32mm gatorskins in between the knobbies ans Jack Brown Blues and they were fine, but wanted some nice tan walls and a little bigger so went with the JBB from RIvendell that friend brought from Japan. Very nice and supple tyres with proper puncture protection. Roll effortlessly. Can recommend, tried on pavement and gravel and although the km's so far are pretty limited I can comment that I'd buy an another pair in a heartbeat. King hubs roll nicely, hylex brakes have needed no service so far athough the pads have obviusly seen some wear.. It's probably not the best idea to use clamps on a carbon fork, but I have confidence on the wound up not to fail on me and I'm not carrying heavy loads on the Swift rando bag anyways.. All in all so far very pleased on everything and will most likely get my next custom from Orłowski as well.

This bike is so cool ! I'm having a custom adventure bike built too at this moment and I've got an ergon seat post to fit on it too. After using one on my previous Canyon, my ass demanded it. Fun to see I'm not the only one. :D
Also, Orlowski was on my list of potential builders before I decided to go for a local one. The paint job is absolutely superb.

Hey! Great looking build! I have a question on how you mounted the Pelago Front Rack on the bike. How did you connect at the fork tips? I have the same rack but having trouble making it work with a regular 100mm quick release skewer. It's too short!

Hi
I used the available fork mount inserts that came with the rack. It was sort of a difficult assembly since the racks side bars can easily be mistakenly assembled backwards and you have also quite many positions to put the inserts and the bar under the rack.
Can't be sure anymore because I sold the rack but the insert I used was the normal qr-insert, alhough I'm using safety skewers which might be longer than regular 100mm skewers..

Looks like the SS isn't applicable anymore. Oh, yeah, awesome awesome ride. This looks like it would be a blast to tear it up on!

go down to 3bar with the air pressure, this will helps you riding offroad

yeah well aware
was a situation were I was riding on 4bar and on a snowy path, then went into a forest path frozen solid and the 4bar was too much. could've released some air but I was just going through so didn't..
