The "casual riding" edition (traditional track setup) is absolutely gorgeous. I'm going to do up my Kilo in a similar fashion. Not sure how I'll end up finding a threaded fork, though...

If only I had $650 laying around right now. Would definitely take it off you given the time to save up. She's too beautiful bro!

I absolutely love this bike! Where did you buy the cinelli supercorsa fork? the tight clearances look so good.

Awesome bike! Question, is the spindle length of the bottom bracket 107 or 110mm?
Posted over 10 years ago
Super nice build love the clearance. Do you know the rake of that fork?

I feel like Kilos are one of the most abuseable bikes out there!

I always liked this basket from Copenhagen Parts: http://copenhagenparts.com/products/bik...
Posted about 11 years ago
Yeah, sadly the Copenhagen Parts basket is not usable with a quill stem.
The Gotham Cargo baskets (http://gothamcargo.com) look pretty nice too, but they hold on to the front brake, not the handlebars, so I don't know how strong they are. Wald baskets work pretty well too, I just don't like the look of most of them very much.

Walds are pretty cheap/basic. Look into the Velo-Orange porteur rack if you want to get fancy with it... it would look SUPER good with this bike. Racks are more versatile, anyway.

damn man.. you thought of it all. clean from every angle. simply beautiful

hey, weren't those that guy named tony's pedals? they dont have titanium axles..
Posted almost 12 years ago
I replaced axels and bearings at adrenline cycles because i dropped the bike on pedals and damaged bushing.
Posted almost 12 years ago
adrenline cycles isn't anywhere near here no? keo plus uses bearings not bushings

Threaded looks awesome! Good choice on going for the Jaguar. It'll look intense!

Dope as hell man! Wouldn't look so bad if the front wheel was radial laced!

Just curious on the weight of the build with carbon hoops
Posted about 12 years ago
Around 12lb, but im using a scale at the LBS. Witch is not digital. He told me the scale measures a little heavier. If i had nitto b123 on, the bike would be alot heavier.
Posted about 12 years ago
Theres no way your bike weighs 12lbs. Unless it's entirely made of carbon fiber and your omniums are the lighter version than everyone else's out there. I do love this build though.
Posted about 12 years ago
With silver wheels the bike was 18lb I'm not sure ill measure on a digital

I especially love the newer pics where you embraced more traditional styling, very nice ride

Clean build, the parts look very nice on the frame. One of the nicest Kilo TT I've ever seen

Love everything about this bike. By the way, you from Alhambra? I recognize "The Hat".

Your photography skills are impressive. Your bike is a perfect example of not having to break the bank for a sweet ride. Clean, classy, and inspirational.

so clean...it looks more aggressive with the CF wheels tho :3

You can get the stock fork threaded, I did it at a shop down her in Austin. Most shop mechanics said it can't be done but this guy did it as you can see in my Kilo builds. They only charged me like 20 bucks an inch.
