Interesting that the 6700 shifters work with the XT front and rear derailleurs! Are you using TRP or Tektro V brakes?

Thanks ! Old 10-speed Shimano road shifters just work fine with 9-speed mtb derailleur on a 10-speed cassette !

Brakes are mini Vs TRP CX9, as efficient as the regular Deore vbrakes I had before.

Thanks so much for your replies. I'm storing the information for a future build!
I've been using bar end shifters in friction mode to work XT derailleurs. : D Also Cane Creek/ Tektro brake levers for drop bars and regular length V brakes. Cheers!
