This frame was built in 1987 by VEB Elite Diamant in former GDR and was owned and ridden by Betriebssportgemeinschaft (BSG) Turbine Peitz, an east german cycling club. The clubs name was changed to Radsportverein Peitz e.V. after the fall of the GDR. They sold a bunch of frames in June 2016 and I got lucky finding on in my size. I was painted over a few times and I think I´ll repaint it someday in it´s original silver/grey colour. The frame is really heavy and it doesn´t seems as if there is any form of conification of the tubes at all. The chrome plated steel fork is a piece of beauty. I really love it but it needs some other, more classy parts.
