That they are. Occasionally though I'll run some WTB Nanos on my 29r XT wheelset if conditions call for beefier wheels

It will still take up to a 43mm Bruce Gordon Rock n Road. I really love that DB took the initiative to (mostly) fit rear clearance to the massive fork space. 45mm is probably max for the rear, but I wouldn't be surprised if the fork could clear a 29 x 2.1
