Funny you comment. I check out your bikes. That's some serious handlebar drop how long can you remain comfortable? Thanks!

Hahaha, well, on my China carbon, it was always comfortable but not comfortable at the same time. Like, my back never gave me problems but I just felt... Too hunched. IRO is always fine, Pursuit bike was too short in the top tube so that gave me back problems, and the KHS is just right.

Sweet build man. How'd you fix those rear brakes though? From what I know this frame is only front brake compatible, right?

I see, and did they charge you extra for it? Out of cuiosity dyou use this bike for time trials?
Posted about 12 years ago
They charged me extra, but I didn't purchase a fork with the frame. I think it was $60 extra? Can't remember exactly but it is totally worth it for the versatility. I don't really compete even though I'd like to. School prevents me from riding as much as I'd like to. When I have the time, I do take this for long rides 40-85 miles and it's fairly aggressive positioning. I'd like to put aero bars on it at some point for the longer rides but it's usually just my ass that hurts, not my back. For a custom Italian track frame, the price can't be beat.

Just wanted to drop in and say this is probably my favorite bike on pedalroom. Noice.

Why two types of levers?
Posted about 12 years ago
So I can brake while on the horns or while on the hoods. I had bar end levers on both, but switched back to this.

nice nice,
dude i got a question
iam 1,83 heigh and my inseam is 83cm, so i should take a 55cm frame or 53cm frame?
Posted over 12 years ago
There frames run a bit big. I would suggest the 53 (measures more like 54). You have the same inseam as me, but seem like your torso is a longer than mine as I'm 5'10+. I prefer a slightly smaller/tighter geometry, so I might have gone with the 51 even though I measured for the 53.

Change the rims! What changes are you making on this build?
Posted over 12 years ago
same as front. Black rim, sliver or black nipples, black spokes, to silver hub.
