nice ride!
how are those hubs going along?
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thanks, after 2 years of use in tough conditions (cobbles, mud, trails, skidwhips):
- Front hub: still has smooth bearings, but the wheel no longer stops spinning always at the same position (if it is comprehensible)
- Rear hub: one bearing worn, one really worn, you can feel the balls :s but they are easily replacable if needed.
it is just boring to need to buy victoire splined cog if you don't live nearby a reseller
Still some good hubs in my opinion.

I'd say phils are overpriced for it's specs : vertical flanges, no dust caps for bearing protection.
And I saw now victoire makes some threaded ones now (for regular cogs)

great ! really agressive and stiff, though the stem is too long for riding in the city it is really stable when riding fast...

120mm stem with track drops is pretty rad ahaha why dont you try road drops for streets? Btw, check out my bike ;D

yeah, I've bever tried road bars, should one day... I like your rims, wondered about having a second wheelset with a front tb14/rear archetype for windy days

Love this frameset, especially in black! Nice build you got there.

Me too, I think it is a bit bulky but it is for the good cause and the weldings are really smooth
