Hey mate! Awesome bike! :) are you in nz? I am interested in the shamals.. I also have a mendez track frame and i was under the impression that it was built by liam o'brien. Id love to know more if you have any other info! Cheers

Fantastic frame, and you did a really tasteful job at keeping it original (rusted) and building up a great group. A favorite, for sure.

Dude, how does the Shamal ride? Smooth and fast? Nice bike you got there.

found the frame on a local auction site had been siting under a shed for about 10 years. and i just stripped it of its parts and cleaned up some of the rust shot it with a clear coat and then re built it all. have been collecting the parts for about 2 years

Great bike! Just get rid of the rear phil hub, get some proper campy record and it'll be an awesome classic ride!!! Whacha think(:?

Yea would be super keen. but finding a 16h campy track hub is almost impossible. so the phil will have to stay for now. next upgrade is the headset. as i have a C-Record headset for it but the stack height was too high.

Very nice Don Gibbs. Look at those gussets. Looks like a very stiff ride!

Damn this is cool! I love weathered track bikes! Your C-Record pedals look a helluva lot different than mine..
