Answering your question, this frame is twitchy even though I have a 110mm stem to supposedly tone the twichness down. But when sprinting, I can't really feel the stiffness (there's no track on Oahu... though there should be...) but I know the stiffness is there. This is my first aluminium frame and I have to say, the rides pretty harsh. Well I expected that anyway haha. Overall, I would most definitely most certainly buy another one if I can. i'm going to be building a BB17 Karma frameset soon, and i'm not sure what stem length i should be purchasing.
i'm in the same boat as you; not a velodrome in sight! it's a shame, really. haha

I'm asian (haha) so my hight is 5'5. The seatube of this frame is 53cm and the top tube is 53cm also! And I'll upload a full bike photo when I find a decent spot to photograph the bike in :)
