real quick - how do you like the brooks c13? I've been jonesing for a longer saddle, and i'm interested in that one..

It takes a lot of time to break in -- probably like 150 miles before it really started to flex -- but once it does it's great. It's feels like a mix of the Selle Italia SL I had before and a Fizik Aliante.

Awesome build. That groupset is the nuts!

I've got that groupset and would be willing to sell it. Hardly used. PM me

How much does it weigh?
Posted about 9 years ago
Before upgrading from the 3T to Thomson bits it was at 17.9 lbs with the training wheels - need to reweigh at some point this offseason.

My next bike is going to be Ti, but i'm stuck between Seven and Firefly. I work at Landry's and we are a Seven dealer.

I live in Washington Square and I love Landry's. Got my 'cross bike from you guys.
I honestly think you're getting a slightly nicer ti frame from Firefly, but you can't go wrong with either of those two options.

I saw the Firefly 'cross team out at the MRC cross race in Lancaster 2 weeks ago, they do build a nice looking frame.

looks a bit small
lots of seatpost and the stem is about 130mm?
Posted over 10 years ago
Hey FFF, I've heard that a few times about the stem, but having gotten used to riding a 58cm on my two long-term off the shelf bikes, I wanted a slightly smaller frame. I'm about 6'4 (195 cm) but I prefer a 58cm frame with larger cockpit as opposed to 61cm if I'm going stock.

so good. would just change the chainrings for more delicate ones

More delicate? I do still have the original PowerGlide ones (see studio photos) but those are definitely more flexy than the current Red ones. I do wish these were all black, but not enough to spray them or anything.

i think the red chainrings look to chunky, the powerglides would be sweet imho
