Wow nice build !!! How did you do your handlebars like that ?
Posted over 9 years ago
Thx,the bar wraps are custom made by Mick "busyman" Peel in Australia and I sew them on by myself.
Posted over 9 years ago
This is truly going above and beyond. It is a thing of beauty! I love it!
Posted almost 10 years ago
It's custom made from some red suede to match the Cinelli VIP saddle ;-)
Posted almost 10 years ago
This is insane, Bishop are making some stunning frames!
Posted about 10 years ago
Thanks,Bishop is definitely one of the very best even around the whole world.
Posted about 10 years ago
that's not a devil 101 chain they only come in gold. not gold and black. that has to be the ten speed version just used as a track chain which actually works well ive did it plenty of times. the devil 101 is all gold
Posted about 10 years ago
Well, good eyes,I just updated some photos with the D101 on,the black/gold one is IZUMI V which Chris mount on just for pics before shipping the bike to me.

From one Bishop owner to another.
Nice!
Posted over 10 years ago
Liked your Bishop for quite a long time, actually I was thinking to let Chris made a full stainless version as well, inspired by yours.
Posted over 10 years ago
I wonder how bothersome it would've been to kept it super duper clean whilst having it displayed on that sort of terrain, haha
Above all, that is one shiny bike. *Thumbs up*
Posted over 10 years ago
Interesting mix of components, and loads of info. Great build, it's clear you have a lot of love for this ride. Hope you are enjoying it!
Posted over 10 years ago
Checked out Bishop website; base price was 2800 USD? Plus all the extra stuff that's added on top of that.
This thing is almost the price of a cheap new car eh?? Haha.. it's a beauty though!
Posted over 10 years ago
Yup,all the stainless bits upgrade and the custom filleted lugs cost extra money,as well as the custom campy parts and paint job,I haven't counted the whole price but I believe it'll be more or less around $10K,a bit too much though:-P

Perforated Flite?
Posted over 10 years ago

我很喜欢你的自行车!日本自行车很漂亮!(I'm Chinese and my chinese sucks haha)
Posted over 10 years ago
Felix, my Chinese is HORRIBLE. Almost called my mom "dad" like 1000x times #americanbornproblems
Posted over 10 years ago
Well,I bet you're ABC(America Born Chinese),right?Actually this bike was built by Chris Bishop from Baltimore MD ;-P
Posted over 10 years ago
What a stunner! Words fail, hope it rides as well as it looks(it should, all top shelf). An example of doing it right. Enjoy.
Posted over 10 years ago
Had a Bianchi Team RC MTB in Martini colors. Best part of the bike was the paint scheme! Nice to see some POP on a bike.
Posted over 10 years ago
Thx for the kind words``` and it sure rides as wonderful as it looks!even better;-D
Posted over 10 years ago
no pedals?
Posted over 10 years ago
Well these pics were taken before Chris shipped it out,so no pedals mounted, which means no one could ride it before I put my pedals on;-P
Posted over 10 years ago
ah k, makes sense =) love your bishop, you must have been paid a fortune
Posted over 10 years ago
Well as for reference,I paid $850 for the custom Martini parts and another $800 for the paint job ;-P
Posted over 10 years ago
congratulation for the featured boss ;) just like what ive said before ,, this one is definitely a featured..
Posted over 10 years ago
How do you dismount the chain if you get a flat? Missing link/snap on lock?
Posted over 10 years ago
Actually there is a bolt type master link which I could disconnect the chain easily if needed ;-P
Posted over 10 years ago
The chain is short but he should still be able to roll the chain off the chainring.
Posted over 10 years ago
so amazing, i'm all about this bike. i only wish i could get my hands on something this immaculate. the drive-train is awesome on this bike.
Posted over 10 years ago
This came out amazing man, again I rarely see people execute bikes with such an eye for detail. Congrats!!
Posted over 10 years ago
Thx man! Chris and I do really put a lot of attention to every single detail of this bike, almost every part of it had been modified/customized ;-P
Posted over 10 years ago
In RAW variant bicycle was much more cooler - with track bike minimalistic spirit. Now is really gay-lollipop'ish. It was big mistake to paint it like this.
Also this drilling is awful - just waste of cool and rare componets.
Posted about 11 years ago
haha! I like your comment! I've thought about some cleaner paint schemes but Chris just convinced me to stick with the martini one and it turns out great atmo``` love your colnago btw.
Posted about 11 years ago
man, your bike with red details was great inspiration for me when i build up my Viner and i really think that is big mistake to make it so colorful with a lot not nessesary details like art-deco style which not assosiated with track bicycles just with cruisers may be. Sorry for that but i can't keep silece because i really love your bike how it was before painting.
Posted about 11 years ago
Glad you like my Pelizzoli, actually it is now in the Peli workshop for a full transformation to a fender-ed single speed commuter;-D
As for the Bishop,to be honest I'm not a big fan of fancy paint jobs as well but this time Bryan Mayers of Fresh frame really make the frameset pop and still keep the classic looking, paint scheme is really a very personal thing and people love/hate on it for subjective taste,so here it is,I love it even for the 2 years of wait, and I believe it'll looking pretty dope when I ride it on the velodrome.
Posted about 11 years ago
Btw it is not a lollipop kind of scheme but a classic racing stripe used on many classic racing cars,so there is a big difference between this and some fancy neon colored fixed gear. And I just want to try something bright as I already have another very classic looking bike;-P
Posted about 11 years ago
"bike with red details" - is your Bishop bike before paiting, not Pelizzoli)
i agree that color sheme is a matter of taste and if you like it - it's your own choice. Just enjoy riding your bike.
Posted about 11 years ago
i love this.
so.
freakin.
MUCH!! hahha you are a lucky man.
bishop is definitely in my top 3 builders. his craftmanship is ridiculous. every frame a piece of art.
Posted about 11 years ago
this has to be the nicest track bike on this site. Def needs to be featured
Posted about 11 years ago
awesome! what kind of bar-tape is that?
Posted about 11 years ago
Thx buddy! The bar wrap are custom made by Chris to match the cinelli VIP suede saddle;-P
Posted about 11 years ago
really clean build, I usually don't comment but well done! Nice to see someone with an eye on detail~
Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks for the compliments,Chris's detail works are beyond the top of the game!
And your Kalavinka is a jaw dropping beauty too!
Steel is forever real!
Posted over 11 years ago
By the way,I love your candy green Level mamachari which inspired me to transfer my Pelizzoli to a single speed porteur!
Posted over 11 years ago
Awesome! Yes the level is my daily commuter here in tokyo and the rack does wonders when shopping or carrying a girl!
Posted about 11 years ago
Actually perfect. Nothing can even compare.
Posted over 11 years ago
Haha thx budy,Chris and me both wanted to make it as perfect as possible;-P without any compromise
Posted over 11 years ago
I can't wrap my mind around how thin the seattube lug is pointed. It's so perfectly filed that it almost seems to flow into the campy aero. It'll be a long time before I see another track bike that can even come close to this good.
Posted over 11 years ago
Thx for the compliment! Chris is truly a master builder who stands on top of the game, few builder can come close to his level of skills these days,so that's why I think it's worth the 20 months of wait!
