A friend and myself road up to Lawnton which is nearly 25km from our city of Brisbane to inspect and purchase this bike. According to its original owner it had never really seen the road this was made evident by its condition as well as the lack of holes on either the forks or rear bridge for brakes. I was happy to make the purchase and my friend took the wheels on his bag and i took the rest of the parts on my bag. Together on our brakeless fixed gear bicycles we road back to Brisbane through quite heavy traffic and some ridiculous wind from all directions. It was stupid fun and if money was not involved I would do it again. The bike remained in its original paint for a week before I started to have qualms with the amount of white seen on it so I decided to strip the bike down and paint it with a colour pallet I have no qualms with. This is the result.....
