i noticed on your front brake setup, you have a front wheel that has a black braking surface. Has the color rubbed off or have signs of rubbing off? or do you simply have the brakes as a precaution and dont use it unless in emergency situations

Use the brake only for emergencies. The finish holds up pretty well. If you ride it the rain a lot it will wear away quickly, also depends on what pads you use.

FYI - I've got black and also dk gray h plus sons on my road bikes. the black brake track is mostly gone after one season, the gray holds up really, really well. on a fixed gear, either color will last a lot longer

Well actually yes: just change the cockpit for the Ritchey monocurve you have in previous pictures :)

Thanks! Ritchey is on as my street setup. still dialing in the fit for the track setup, then I will pick up a nice bar and stem.

Get a Chevrolet badge and stick it on the bars, haha. Still, that's some sweet paint you have on it.

It's like a muscle car with that paint job coupled with the thick tubing. Great job

Sweet paint! No bar tape?
Posted about 11 years ago
I didnt have any for the first photos. The photo in the park was from yesterday with tape.

Thank you so much! the colors are Corvette and Camaro colors, always thought they would look good on a bike.
