Hi On Giant website it's stated that it was introduced in 1987 as first mass produced carbon fibre bike, but mine is newer judging by the paint (older had "Cadex" written on the down tube) so I'd say it's 1994 and it might've been last year of production.

The CFR? Yes very nice that's bit newer than mine but same frame technology. I also noticed how comfy ride is but it's still pretty light at same time and has good acceleration when You step on the pedals, it's like a Jaguar lol
