really sweet but who would swap a time fork for an origin8 one ?

GAGA323 says:

Many reasons, first I was not able to use an oversize stem/bar on the TIME fork (Im using the bike to compete), it was old and unreliable carbon tech and It had to be 1", this Origin8 alu/carbon does all that being also very light and stiff.

Even knowing its not reliable? jaja sorry man long gone.

pearleen says:

were you just guessing it's reliability or did you have it tested by experts ? i'm running on a CF fork of the same era... doesn't seem unreliable...

GAGA323 says:

That was the MAIN reason I made the upgrade, going really fast on a very long hill, I thought it was my last one, weird carbon sounds and strange flexing reactions when hitting unperfect surfaces, don´t need an expert when you sense that on a 90's cabron product, plus people advise. 20 years of technology improvements, just imagine.

maybe... i feel your carbon paranoia, as i'm more of a steel person... the fork i have on mine is really sturdy (Kestrel EMS Composite) and I do curb jumps all the time... oh well... live fast :-)
i would have paid shipping tho to get that fork :-)

Interesting point of view.
Why not
I have the same frame but don't know how to built it ( with chrome fork)

Why not sram ?

GAGA323 says:

Define your position, I choosed Ultegra because of the futuristic aesthetics, SRAM makes the same effect, or you can just get the Campagnolo classic models if thats what fits you better. Btw, you have the SAME EXACT frame? I haven't found many on the web.
