How are you liking this? I'm thinking about getting a trail pistol

amazing bike. the trail pistol is sick but it's a lot of bike being a 29er and all. kind of feels like you're ON the bike rather than IN it. I'd look at the shred dogg if you want something super rippy and fun. or if you wanna go bigger the megatrail.

Being as tall as I am, 29 feels like the right choice, but I tested a smash on saturday and it definitely had some of what you're talking about. Trying to stick with short travel though maybe it makes more sense there?

Yeah the Shred is just a short travel Mega. My homie who is 6'4" test rode a Mega and a Trail Pistol back to back and liked a Mega a whole lot more. 27.5" just wins in the get gnarly category in my opinion. Maybe test ride any 29er next to a 27.5 and see. 27.5 just whipz and nae-naes better
