Budget build = loaded parents
Posted about 11 years ago
I had to earn the cash from my "loaded parents" getting good grade and whats fulfills their needs is pretty hard to get where im at now.... But sadly i need to sell this bike now..
Posted about 11 years ago
I honestly think you don't even have a budget for this...
Posted over 11 years ago
Lol well thats what they all say xDD well my bday wasnt too long ago soo i just got this hed..

nice bike.
also bike fitment has nothing to do with inseam, use a fitment calculator and base frame size off recommended top tube length.
Posted over 11 years ago
Not a budget build at all...but this looks like a nice ride man
Posted over 11 years ago
You could say not a budget build but i had a limit lol but any how... Thanks lolGoing to be upgrading soon! ^_^
Posted over 11 years ago
nice build ! you should get a 3t seat post to go along with that stem !
Posted over 11 years ago
You call this a budget build !? Haha, Great build !
Posted over 11 years ago
Lol of course!! XD high school student with no job i consider it as a budget build :3 But thanks!!
Posted over 11 years ago
can i ask what your inseam lenght?
Posted over 11 years ago
For now I really dont know.. But ill try to measure my inseam asap..
Posted over 11 years ago
Nice! I'm planning on getting the frameset but i'm not sure what size to get. How tall are you? i was planning to get like 52cm-55cm or something
Posted over 11 years ago
did you randomly mount the seatpost on it or did you align it already?
Posted over 11 years ago
For now I just tossed it on there for now and all the technical things then my bike is complete.. And want your height?
Posted over 11 years ago
I'm 5'8 and yeah i'm pretty sure the 55cm may be too tall for me so i might just get the 52cm, i just don't want my seatpost to be slammed or pulled up too much LOL
Posted over 11 years ago
Yes I do agree with that size for you... I even think that the 55 Is a tad to big for me because my seat post looks slammed :( n I don't really like that.. I rather have more seat post showing but I gotta live with it...
Posted over 11 years ago
Cant wait to see it done. I have wanted to see a good build on one of these frames.
Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks man! My bike should be completed by this week or the next!
Posted over 11 years ago
Very nice build ! Super clean. I agree with Milc, the drops on the deda is too low for me too. Good luck with your build, can't wait to see it completed !

Seems like a cool build brotha. As far as constructive criticism goes, clipless pedals will make your life so much better. There's so many spd sneakers and mtb shoes if you don't want to walk around like a duck (did that with my bianchi) and maybe different bars. I've tried out the deda pista and they're too low for my tastes. Shallower drops lets you lower your stem more.

Well actually being a high school student and not that much money to offer tp this hobby im guessing this is a pretty good build.. I had a few good deals on the parts I've gotten... N i was actually thinking about clipless but like I said just a high school student... Almost getting a job to support this hobby. and ill make some changes to this bike in the future.. And I Love your Bianchi btw

I swear i thought these frames would be hella dough but theyre cheap haha
Posted over 11 years ago
Well since it got shipped to hawaii TOTAL came out to $450.... 100+ shipping
Posted over 11 years ago
frame looks sick, only wish it had an aero seatpost
Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks and these frames for now are limited and sold by pre-order... But what type of seat post do you recommend?
Posted over 11 years ago
Sorry I meant I wish it had one of those wide integrated seatposts, lol, and for the price these look really well built. I'd go with a carbon seatpost, FSA SLKs look good
Posted over 11 years ago
few hundreds over a grand? lol that's not a budget build.
Posted over 11 years ago
Actually I've been saving so to me what a budget build is what I can afford with the money that I have saved up. Once I can find a job to support this bike and toss noney around It wouldn't be a Budget build.. But yes I do understand what you guys mean lol

Saw that frameset on Pedal Consumption. Please let us know what you think about it. Weight and ride.
Posted over 11 years ago
Im very close in communitcation the the company. They said that the weight of the FRAME only is 3.5 pounds! The fork that comes witht he frame is 1.3 pounds. They are currently making a carbon fork as we speak.... Correction on fork weight...
