Wish they still sold this finish, that riser setup looks so comfy.

When I ordered it this was the last XL they had, and indicated that the finish wasn't the "high polish" that the others had. It's subtler and better looking in my opinion. Glad you agree! It's an addictive ride, and very comfortable

Yeah, I like this very much Jake. Right amount of stickers and amount of bling bits. Looks fun to ride. Are those rims SL42?

how's the ride? and how's gatorskin for the rear?

J_Smitty says:

The ride is super stiff and responsive, really great overall. Gatorskin is the best tire for brakeless riding IMHO. I work at a shop so I can get them like $28 a piece which is nice. I chew them up fast

wow thanks for the info.. how long does the gatorskin last for you?

Posted almost 11 years ago

J_Smitty

J_Smitty says:

Pretty long, I usually would have to ride about 2 months or at least 4-5 weeks of frequent daily skidding before it starts to get down to the threads, I've had ones that last as long a 5-6 months sometimes if i ride longer and don't have to stop so frequently. hope this helps! worth it for the money i think
