This bike was a present to my dad and now is displayed in his office. He won Olympic gold in sailing at the 1984 Olympics. This bike is a combination of my passion and his achievements.

defiantly like it better with the DA and HED vs the Shamals and Campy, although those black shamals you had would have looked nice

How did you get the LA84s to work with the DA stem? Aren't the stems 26.0mm? Lovely bike though mate.

I ride 90% of the time clipless. But the pedals don't fit the groupset! Plus everytime I go to take photos I'm riding round town.

Ha! Hip hop slave as. Waiting for my da stem to be rebuilt so I can get back to the bullies. Sick of risers on long rides. Though they are good for round town!

I still love the shamal set up.. However having clinchers and more spokes means this bike gets ridden alot more. It's my daily ATM. So I'm happy with it! Thanks man.

maybe in the next few weeks. havnt riden any of my bikes for 6 weeks. have a broken arm atm. snapped al the ligaments in my wrist and broke a previously inserted titanium plate. hahaha.

yea the fillet brazing and ego tubing works amazing together. right now i run it at 54/17. though this isnt my daily runner. my other bike is.
