Whats wrong with riding a single speed with one brake? I ride my single speed with one brake and i have for the past 2 years as a bike messenger riding in bad conditions and through traffic, never have had any problems at all........................by the way I like your Pake! I have always wanted to buy one these as a beater, how do you like it?

I dig it. It's not the lightest thing is the world but it looks good (I think) and it's a really fun bike to ride. This is my first "track" frame, my other singles were conversions, and I love how responsive it is.

This is my second single speed with just a front brake. No problems here.

I got a good deal on the brakeset so I have a rear. I just haven't installed it yet. I will, at some point.
