Koga Miyata gents racer from 1977. Intentionally bought the bike which appears to have mainly most of the original parts mounted for an original rebuild, but the frame was abused too heavy and it turned out the frame was compressed due to a severe accident. The damage maybe was repaired by the previous owner, because the frame is still rideable. For me it wasn’t worth for an original rebuild anymore and decided to build a fixed gear/singlespeed bike for daily use. The frame has a lot of rust paint damages, which were treated to stop rusting. The wheelset consisted of AVA saphir tubular rims laced to Suzue hubs. The rear wheel was build up with Mavic Open Elite, CNC Track One hub and DT Swiss Competition Spokes. The front wheel rim was simply relpaced with Mavic Open Elite. The AVA saphir rims were sold.
