Kona Honky Tonk ERRYDAYSLAY

Started with a cheap eBay frameset and built this lovingly piece-by-piece to be exactly what I wanted; an abusable budget "all-road"/commuter/light-tourer/all day roadie. It has taken me to so many beautiful places, as well as just to my daily routine. We have an unbreakable bond now.

Frame:
2010 Kona Honky Tonk

Fork/Headset:
Kona Fork/generic FSA

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
APEX

Pedals:
generic shimano spd

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
APEX WiFli - Good for carrying weight and climbing and cause i'm fat

Handlebars/Stem:
generic short and shallow drops/ VO tall stack

Saddle/Seatpost:
my beloved Selle An Trans AM which i've had for about a decade and needs to be retired/generic PRO

Velocity A23 36 Spoke w/ generic Velocity hubs (prob Formula). Great no-nonsense strong and light wheels. I have abused the hell out of them and they're going strong

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
ok time to talk about my Panaracer Gravelking slick 32c tires. This was my first experience with a high quality high TPI suppppppple tires and my mind IS BLOWN! Never before has a parts upgrade had such a profound effect on my ride quality. I have thrashed this bike on everything from pavement, to gravel, to singletrack, to rock gardens and it stays comfy.

Accessories:
Knog Oi bell/Sweet dinosaur (triceratops) handelbar bag

More Info:
supple

I have a Honky Tonk 2012 and another 2012 frame as a backup and I found your pictures really inspiring. I will never sell it. Thank you.
