My setup for some fun in the woods. Psycho Paint job, shifting cables are routed through the frame completely and some crazy quadruple butted tubeset from the japanese secret office of lugged steel tubes. What were those folks smoking back in the nineties?!

What is the size and how tall are you?
Posted over 8 years ago
Its Size 50 and I am 174 cm tall. I am apparently a bit too short for this thing. Sizing chart here: http://www.mtb-kataloge.de/Bikekataloge...

174 to tall for 50cm frame? That doesn't sound right... I'm 180 and juz got 53 frame and I think it may be to small.

I have relativeIy short arms, so it's a bit too long. I prefer to have it short and the front a bit lower...

I will make some detail shots soon. But sun is rare for me at the moment...

niiiice. how are the SE brakes ? some people described them as too powerful ?
Posted about 10 years ago
I like them! Suntour stopped the production of the front model instantly because the self-energizing mechanism doesn't work on the front wheel except you use a fork with the canti bosses pointing to the back. They are quite hard to modulate, but on the rear its not that important for me.

Can't tell which one I like more, this one or the colossi

How's the retro shift I've only seen 1 or 2 other bikes on here with it, also any picture of the quadruple butted tubing and lug work?
Posted about 10 years ago
Maybe a little unusual but shifting is super crisp especially with the burd rd and you can mount any downtube shifter to it wich is supercool.
If your rear derailleur is jammed you can still switch to friction. But no shifting from the drops...
