Langster Pro 2013

Had a chance to grab one of these for a super good deal from a friend. Overall I'm really impressed with the build. The frame geometry (fork rake specifically) seems a little off but I'm making it work. Mostly stock for now. 16 lbs with new bars, stem, saddle, and time atac xs carbon pedals. I work at a bike shop that sells Specialized; I can't be pulling up on my Trek.

Frame:
Specialized Langster Pro BLACK-OUT size XL (58)

Fork/Headset:
Whiskey 7 straight blade road fork 1 1/8

Crankset/Bottom Bracket:
SRAM Omnium 170mm

Pedals:
Time Atac XS carbon

Drivetrain/Cog/Chainring/Chain:
Izumi V super toughness, Dura Ace 15t cog, Dura Ace lockring, omnium 48t chainring.

Handlebars/Stem:
Easton ea70 100mm 6 deg and FSA Wing Pro road drop (42)

Saddle/Seatpost:
Stock Post (VENGE) and Romin Evo Pro 143 saddle

Brakes:
FSA Gossamer + Specialized cross lever

Front Wheel/Hub/Tire:
American Classic 420 Track (special edition), Specialized Turbo Pro

Rear Wheel/Hub/Tire:
American Classic 420 Track (special edition), Specialized Turbo Elite

Accessories:
knog lights front and rear

Thanks man! I'm really digging the wheels. They're the perfect compromise of stiffness, lightweight, and good looks. Favorite wheels so far.

Pretty sweet build you got there, hear the newer Langster pro's are really stiff & rigid.

MikeyxVx says:

Yeah the bike is pretty stiff and pingy but has a nice ride quality for being aero tubing. Not as plush as my old Histogram but smoother than my Tk3. I'm pretty happy with it.

No problem! I would go with ZIPP, or 3t Stealth though.

I just had that Easton stem laying around and it was the right length/drop and kind of matched. I agree a 3t stealth would be dope. I'm going to get the specialized Sworks Aerofly for it when they come out too.

Sweet dude! Those bars would be super nice on this build! I just want those American Classic wheels on my Fuji, for the velodrome; so nice and stealthy.
