Nice Build!
looks great with black bartape

Shimano M520 spd, they come in black, silver or white.
I love them. One day I might try dura ace or look, but until I buy another carbon road bike & that'll be a while:)

It's great, and its a track saddle. They have one that's got less padding.

nice build btw, im really scared about the seattube its really thin is it? hows the ride btw? is it the same like the normal edition?
Posted about 12 years ago
thanks.
the Seat tube although thin the curve is strong and so are the seat stays & chain stays, so it looks weak and scary compared to the 725 & 735 aluminum frams but actually stronger and it has/gives proper flex in order to handle and transfer loads so it won't snap. when I first rode it, I was very if and gentile with it, but now I don't avoid anything but the very deep crater size potholes. does a good jobd of dampening road vibration.. I'm in chicago so we gots lots of potholes and tree branches growing underneath our streets so far it takes a beating but keeps on trucking...
I'm still building the regular edition, waiting on my archetype rims to come in.. but once it's done I'll know for sure. Personal opinion, I'd be more concerned with the regular edition seat tube snaping or taking a deep bend in a crash or something then I am with the heritage edition.. the s curve would asorb and re distribute the shock better, plus it's thicker and gradually thins & evens out towards the top where the seatpost rest.

have you ever tried any road bars? perhaps it would be more comfortable for those brake lever, just saying bro cheers
Posted over 12 years ago
thanks.
no I haven't.
I was looking at the FSA wing pro compacts & the Deda RHM02 compact road bars... but I have gone back to my Deda chrononero lowrider bull horns with a cinelli pista stem that I had around on the shelf. don't know why I didn't even consider that combo in the first place, this has gotten rid of the discomfort and still allows aero position on the bike for the long fitness rides... guess I got a little ahead of myself when I built this bike up. i'll be posting updated pics later today.

well that is enough, those bars are great, but I even tried one of those haha my feelings says they are comfortable as long as they're OS, OS's are comfortable, oh I see, you could use them as your cockpit while you're looking for some road bars, it is all up to you bro it's yours. I'll be waiting for your updates. and.......did you customize these page?

Double front and rear brake??? How???
Posted over 12 years ago
Haha I know right!?
But it can be done without extra strain on the cables or breaks. It can be down 2 ways. by splitting the cable end or running a short cable splice/grapht. On of my very first aluminum road bikes was like this so its common, just decided to apply to single speed and fixed gear even just for the front break that way if I'm in the drop, I don't have to come up on the top to do an quick or emergency stop. Allows me to maintain control of the bike.

will ur bar tape turn brown or grey after using for a month? tot of getting a white but afraid that it might looks dirty too soon
Posted over 12 years ago
haha yes and no.
it's got a lil grey due to not cleaning hands after handing the chain after an ajustment, but before then it stayed white. it does clean up easily so as long as you don't mind running a damp rag with a lil bike shampoo once a month or so then white tape is fine. i tend to at least wipe down my bike after every ride when I get home, cause i baby bikes, but that's just me.
