well.. you shouldn't have to lower the seat just so your back won't hurt because if your seat is too low you'll have a lot of power loss and discomfort in your knees and back from that also. i want to tell you to look at a proper fit video maybe on youtube or something or get fit at your LBS, or possibly get a smaller bike frame.
