Your bike collection is just mean, dude. How'd you like the breakbrake17? I hadn't heard of them until yesterday and I love the look of that lopro.

thanks, transfer is a really good frame for it's price, and i really like new paint for 2014 models, as well that they removed that useless alu fork.

hey quick question, did u have to install the bb with the various spacers and o-ring?
Posted over 11 years ago
no, 2013 kagero has crimpled chainstay, so no more problems with omniums
Posted over 11 years ago
i see, alright then. because the token bb i bought comes with adaptor and spacers for SRAM application. I shall try it out and see how it goes.

i spotted SLOW//! i made some of those too! like the live wrong tho

Sure is awesome! This has been a favorite for a while now, but it's seriously an original clean build.

What was the main reason to use the Rotor track 47T in combination with the omnium crankset? did you save weight with that?
looks very nice
Posted over 11 years ago
the reason is 1) chainring that comes with omniums is crap 2) i already had rotor.
it's nice alternative to zen, and it's even cheaper

The new photos look great. Have you gone full brakeless now or still use a brake every once and a while?
Posted almost 12 years ago
full brakeless, had those for first 3 days while getting to clipless pedals

Quality build with quality parts... haha
Posted almost 12 years ago
hah, thanks, the point was to make completely weatherproof build, thats why switched to omniums, luckily new kagero takes those, and daido stainless chain. weather is a bitch over here

Really nice kagero! I just ordered myself the carbon fx saddle. How do you like it and do the carbon rails help out the ride quality?
Posted almost 12 years ago
it's hard to say how the saddle rides, i find zoncolan one of the most comfortable saddles ever, but thats personal, and carbon rails are defo feel softer than ti or steel.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Thanks for getting back to me. I'm feeling pretty good about the purchase. I love the aesthetic of zoncolan but have never ridden one. Hopefully I won't have to return it lol

darren9080 says:
Did you need any extra or different bolts to replace the chainring?
I have an omnium and I just bought rotor noq and I heard that for Zen, you need to buy different bolts. Could you elaborate on this??
