Levant NJS

This bicycle was pieced together over a 4 month span. Not much of a theme at all, just a group of components that I've always wanted. The previous owner seemed to have painted over the original red paint, which was a bit perplexing to discover. The frame does have all the classic characteristics of real Columbus tubes though, given the details on the fork's crown and so on. Clearances are tight everywhere. The 50:15 ratio wasn't exactly intentional, but feels good to me. I had intended to have a matching Record bottom bracket, but the one I have isn't correct for the frame. Levant frames are NJS certified and were built in Osaka, Japan by Masahiro Higashikawa, a reputable frame builder who produced frames for the Shimano Racing Team in the 1980s.

Thanks man. The styling of the fork was definitely one of my biggest draws to the frame set.

Thank you! A 55cm might feel like a child's bike next to your GTB though...

My 721 is a 55 haha but the fact my GTB fits me right makes riding a lot more comfortable.
