This was the inspiration I had for my LOW. I've had a picture of it in my wallet ever since I placed the order up until completion! Lovely build!

Posted over 11 years ago
Thanks! Yeah I ride it every day, it looks a little different now, no Zipp on the front, compact drops and a matching front wheel.
Posted over 11 years ago
Wow that's a lot of expensive parts I could still beat you I guarantee you have no stamina you jut care about blogs and lookin pretty and shit
Posted over 11 years ago
You got me man. I don't actually know how to ride a bike, I just heard all the cool kids were buying them. It hangs on the wall in my loft.

Yeah man I walk with my fixie down Embarcadero street and all the messengers say wassup and be like "dat fixie fag got swag"
Posted over 11 years ago
Love the set up man.im 6'0" and I don't really know what size to get.i want the dimensions pretty much exactly like this.do you know these dimensions of hand?
Posted over 11 years ago
Im 6'2 and I ordered a 60 I have a pretty long torso and when I asked at the shop I had 2 options I Just went for the biggest they had

does your chain still make sound? combined with EAI gold medal? im trying to figure out how to silence the chains
Posted about 12 years ago
The Gold Medal cog would only silence the Izumi Model V chain if it were to silence anything. Those too are literally made to be run with eachother. EAI Gold Medal chainring as well.
Posted about 12 years ago
It's true the EAI/Izumi/Zen combo is recommended, and as well as they go together they still make a lot of noise. With a chain as heavy duty as the Izumi V, it's always going to be loud, but it doesn't mean it's not running efficiently. Try different lube - I've found that can help!

still one of my favorite bikes on the site.
let me know if you ever decide to sell that zipp!
Posted about 12 years ago
Thanks! The Zipp is already sold sorry; back to the previous owner.
Posted almost 12 years ago
Glad you didn't sell it.
Posted about 12 years ago
So am I man. It just seems to get better and better. I've got some compact drops on it now, which are fantastic. I'll pop up some new pics soon!
Posted about 12 years ago
EESH! So much excess chain grease. This is an amazing looking bike though! Added to favorites!
Posted about 12 years ago
Mostly road grime and muck, but yeah, pretty messy. I use Chain L No.5, which is very very sticky and can pick up a lot of crap. But it barely ever needs reapplying and it is super smooth. Thanks for the kind words!
Posted about 12 years ago
the hell, how tall are you man? 6,5?.anyway nice setup, looks scary and elegant at the same time :)
Posted about 12 years ago
6'2", and the saddle has come down a fair bit since those last pics. Long legs makes for awkward looking bikes :p
Posted about 12 years ago
Didn't end up selling it? I reckon mine's too big for me. :(
Posted about 12 years ago
Sure didn't. I think mine is a tad small - but it's the biggest size. Got a longer stem and changed the saddle, that helped. I hope you find a way to make your one work, or send it on to someone who can :D
Posted about 12 years ago
looks perfect!
Posted about 12 years ago
Cheers bro! Not quite there yet - need a bit of a longer stem, and a new saddle (lost the Zoncolan to thieves).
Posted about 12 years ago
This is the biggest he makes! I'm just too tall for this track bike malarky.

Hey EdShred, Sick Low Pursuit!!
I was wondering what size spokes did you use for the Velocity A23/Dura Ace 7600 hub combo? I'm planning to lace the same setup 32H with bladed spokes. Any information that you provide will be much appreciated. Thanks!!
Posted over 12 years ago
The wheels were built by Nick at Saint Cloud, but he just used pretty standard double-butted ones if I recall. The bladed spokes wouldn't fit in the Dura-Ace hub slots :(
Posted about 12 years ago
sweet setup. love your crankset combo. trying to save up for some omniums aha :/
Posted over 12 years ago
Hey dude, is that the your actual saddle height??? How tall are you?
Posted over 12 years ago
It's a touch over my normal height. Was using raised cleats. But I'm 6'2", so it's always going to be high.
Posted about 12 years ago
how were those crank arms ? I have dura ace arms on my low and there is way to much toe overlap. I hear omniums have way less ?
Posted over 12 years ago
These are 165mm Omniums. If you have 165 Dura-Ace, or Campy, or anything it will be the same, the length doesn't change between brands. If your Dura-Ace are 170 or 175, then obviously there will be more overlap.

this is dope! where is the zipp?
Posted over 12 years ago
Ah, I sold it to a friend a while back. Bit too fragile to be using daily.
Posted over 12 years ago
oh I see, hm yup just like what I thought, is it very very thin? or? and why were you sold it? dont you think you just keep em?
Posted over 12 years ago
Nope it wasn't super thin, but very light, and with a foam core. He wanted it for a new build, so I just traded it back to him :D
Posted over 12 years ago
the EAI Gold Medal really really really look sick maaann
Posted almost 13 years ago
Yeah, it's been on 3 different bikes now, and looks as good as when I got it. So worth the money. The EAI/Zen/Izumi V combo is bulletproof, but sounds like a chainsaw :P
Posted about 12 years ago
.. And I thought I was the only one with EAI/Zen/Izumi V noise issues =)
Posted almost 11 years ago
looks so sick man
how are those Time ATAC Alium? thought of getting them
Posted almost 13 years ago
They are awesome. I used to have Shimano ones, but I kept coming unclipped during skids at high speed. The ATAC's have never unclipped when I didn't want them to. Love them!
Posted almost 13 years ago
nice bike, very very nice...
I very like your front wheelset...zipp 3000
Posted almost 13 years ago
Thanks, I've actually got a new wheel on there now - one that matches the back. I'll take some pics of the new setup soon!
Posted almost 13 years ago
I meant to ask you. How do you like those Vision bars? I ordered mine earlier this week. Waiting for them to come in.
Posted about 13 years ago
Amazing. I've done drops, risers, pursuit bars. These Vision ones are the perfect compromise. So comfortable.
Posted about 13 years ago
Cool, thanks. It was either between the Visions and Deda lowrider. I didn't hear many good reviews on the lowriders.
Posted about 13 years ago
Just got the Vision's. They're awesome and super comfy. Thanks for the heads-up.
Posted about 13 years ago
great build, but please slam the stem!
Posted about 13 years ago
Slammed! The first photos were when I was finding a good stem height.
Posted about 12 years ago
i love this front wheel. a shame it is tubular..:-)
Posted about 13 years ago
Too much work on that wheel, so I got a matching front spoked one for commuting.
Posted about 12 years ago
I'm thinking of forking out for the absurd postage it's going to cost me to get one of these frames to oz. Great Build! So jelous.
Posted about 13 years ago
The postage wasn't bad dude, Andrew is super helpful and made the whole process smooth. Support handmade!
Posted about 13 years ago
That's good to know the postage isn't too bad, I just assumed it was going to cost quite abit to get one of these frames shipped.
Posted about 13 years ago
this build is too perfect... even the color combination. Love how the neon on the zipp logo compliments the whole thing. I really want one of these frames...
Posted about 13 years ago
Cepz says:
