Nice bike man. Im thinking of stripping my flite, hows the feel?
Posted about 9 years ago
Thanks. Depends if it's a reissue or an original. If you have an original its great, nice and flexy. I also stripped a reissue and the shell material is way thicker and less flexy so i wouldn't bother.

Thanks man. Its a 1987 flite, i asked my friend to reupholster it cause its already beaten up, but the work he did was really bad so thats why im planning to strip it .Thanks man for the review.

No problem. Once the leather and foam was off I trimme the mold lines with a Stanley knife, then wet sanded it with 600, 400 and 1000 grit paper. They can polish up quite nicely if you take your time.

Posted about 11 years ago

Thanks. I've swapped the rims for TB14's since these pics were taken, will get some newer pic up eventually.

I love this one, Dialed! Was this a custom order? Are those silver decals or is that unpainted raw?
Posted about 12 years ago
Thanks. Yeah, it has raw logos. Thinking about switching to TB14's after seeing yours, looks fresh with the low profile rim. How d'you find them?
Posted about 12 years ago
Thanks, I had my mechanic from PHX Bike order them for me. Aside from recently moving to a 90 Thomson Sten I would change a thing about my bike but I would definitely consider the Archtype also though. If you're looking for the TB-14 those I have sets floating around on Ebay.

I've read good things about the TB14's, especially if you ride a 23 tyre, nice cornering i heard.
Posted about 12 years ago
Yea, I'm rocking 25 and it's solid especially when paired with the high BB of the Low, love the stance.

Hey dude, you're 5'11.. I am about 5'10.. Do you think a 54 would be good? I places and order and chose a 54.. What do you think? Also, what is your inseam?
Thanks!
Posted over 12 years ago
You should ask Andrew, he'll let you know. It might be slightly to tall for you, i have a 33in inseam
Posted over 12 years ago
how tall r you?? Im thinking of ordering one just not sure what size... im riding a 52cm right now and it feels too small, the only difference is that its not a pursuit and in turn a lot lower
Posted over 12 years ago
I'm 5 11, my last bike was also a pursuit but a 52, this fits way better. It's quite a bit taller due to the higher bb.

So beautiful! Can't wait till i order mine! How was the wait time?
Posted over 12 years ago
Thanks. It took about 7 months in the end, but well worth it. You won't be disappointed!

Posted over 12 years ago

Posted over 12 years ago
Yup, it's an x2. As far as I know all new LOW bikes will have the smooth welds
Posted over 12 years ago

Great bike! Is the frame black and silver? Reminds me of the L.A. Kings jersey lol
Posted over 12 years ago
That's awesome. My favorite paint job for sure. Do you have any pictures with drop bars or do you only use the risers for commuting?
Posted over 12 years ago
I have some Deda track drops from my previous bike but don't really like them, not enought flat. I might try them out at some point
Posted over 12 years ago
Nicely done, great choice of components!
Just 2 things... Saddle angle & lose the flanges on the grips.

Thanks for the positive comments. Low are definitely worth the money and the wait, light, stiff and beautifully made, mad props to Andrew Low!

I want a LOW soooo bad. I'd trade my Kagero for one in a heartbeat haha
