Made in Manila

I use this bike for my daily commute to work, to church, to basically everywhere I go. It's faster to take a bike than a car in southern Manila, traffic and parking wise. Waited a long time for this frame. I've always wanted a bike custom made for me. I was never fully satisfied with previous frames that I've owned. A few more upgrades on this and I'll be done... haha... Just kidding... I'll never be done.

Hello sir, thank you!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I know is compared to chromo, hi-ten is weaker, thicker, heavier. But not necessarily bad material to use for a frame. With proper care you can get years out of it. But it tends to rust if neglect to take care of the metal. Chromo is weaved steel, hence stiffer, stronger, but you still get that bounce on your stride and will last you a life time with the proper care. That's why there are a lot of chromo classic bikes still rolling. Compared to alloy and carbon, chromo has play and in my opinion, is better to ride. weight weenies opt for carbon parts for obvious reasons. But what ever makes you happy, yeah? With fixies, the bike is stripped to its bare essentials that you don't really need to be conscious of the weight of the build. If I had money I'd get a chromo frame made... someday.

I once lived in Brooklyn, NY and the bike was faster there too. And that's always good.
