How do you get those quill stems on the Easton carbon bars without scraping the clear coat? Mine look like they're peeling after a bad sun burn.

I didn't haha, I did scratch it a fair bit. I am planning to sand it down maybe put another layer of clear coat on. For time being I bought this carbon grip gel from Muc-off to blend the scratches in so they aren't as noticeable.
