I've loved all your bikes.. When are you going to get a road bike? Haha.

Thanks so much dude! Funny thing is I ride my road bikes way more than my track. I'll post up one of my roadies today, cheers.

I've been looking at an NJS Makino at this same framesize . Unsure if you have the same tubing // TT: 55.5cm ST: 54.5cm, How tall are you? Does it fit you right?
Posted over 11 years ago
Mine is 54.5 TT by 54 ST. I'm 5'11 and it fits like a glove. A 54.5 ST would have been fine too.

I feel that once people get an njs bike they just sell whatever they were riding, is it that much better? (debating whether I should buy one locally for a good price)

Coupled with the right parts and you won't regret it. This bike is lighter than my T1 and much more pleasant to ride!

Whoops deleted your comment. :(
Yea I know the bike! That's an awesome deal!!!

Do it! I know I'm going to sound like a prick, but seriously do a full njs build. You won't be disappointed. I feel like this bike didn't come into its own until I blessed it with a proper njs set up.

I probably will do as much njs as I can, but the wheels might be these red phils with silver velocity deep vs. I might have to spend like $150 for a njs da seat post and a kashimax aero. I have everything else.

That's a nice wheelset! The drivetrain is a must though. Njs bb and cranks. Let me know when you make it happen dude, you won't regret it!

I got some used 170 s75s with a 46t red non njs zen ring. For the price, and serviceability I'm going to go with a protype sealed bb.
One day it might happen ahaha.

Living the dream! Not many others can say they actually raced Keirin in Japan! The song "I'm turning Japanese" comes to mind, lol.

It's an incredible experience to have been able to share the track with these dudes.

+1 Panaracer Pasela gumwall tires make this bike that much better than other njs builds.

Wow! This is the first NJS bike I've actually enjoyed in years. I used to lust after those Araya rims, too. Lucky Mutherf#cker-san is who you are!

Love the wheel set! I need a set myself to complete my piece :)

I'm glad to see you finally got another keirin track frame. Beautiful build! I especially love that wheelset! Hope this is a keeper.
