yeah they are nice bikes for the money. I'm 6'4 and this fits nice.

You took that photo literally a block from my house.

I love the bike path, but not on the weekend. Too many people that walk in the middle.

I ride the path almost every weekend, its terrible until you get to like 72nd street. From there to the GW bridge is pretty great though.

What are your thoughts about the wabi wheels?
Posted about 11 years ago
I love them, especially for the price. They are very light and are holding up quite well so far. I ride around Manhattan but I do my best to avoid bad pavement & potholes.
I would definitely purchase them again if something were to happen.

Well they just got redesigned. I got a pair but i had an accident in which the front one got real messed up. I got it fixed an all but it's still slightly untrue. Might end up picking up the new one and thanks for your input, ride safe!

Nice build, I was thinking about picking up the Wabi's and Nashbar Carbon Fork also for my Kilo. Do you think the wheelset and Carbon fork made a significant difference in the ride?

Hard to say since I didn't use the stock rims. It's definitely lighter and more responsive (the rake might be a bit different on the
nashbar fork). Overall I think they are good upgrades. The Wheels are a definite, the fork is only if you're looking to lighten it a bit.
