  4. Almost ready for the new year
  5. Winter commuting/mountain biking
  6. Summer commuting
  7. Summer commuting tweaking
  8. Commuting

Current Stage Info:

Lock as mounted slightly interferes with folding --- will need to have bolts replaced w/ BHCS, or change to disc brake on rear.

EDC bag (second handlebar bag, not usually carried): Silca T-Ratchet + Ti-Torque Kit, Leatherman PST, Leatherman Crunch, Vintage adjustable bike wrench, assortment of bits, adapters and sockets, and Kershaw Torx T Tool in two Altoids tins.

Chrome Industries Welterweight Kadet Sling Bag: Spyderco SpyderWrench, Mininch Toolpen, Toolpen Mini and Wrenchit

Montague bag.

Spare chain, rivets, wheel box?

Studded tires, new rear rim, second front rim 24mm wide.

To do: Inventory fasteners

Hand-built wheels (same rim width as Geoorbital), IRD Classica Freewheel 6-Speed 13T--32, Geoorbital wheel (24mm rim, 28mm tires).

May replace bell w/ black model, replace Topeak Ninja C chain tool w/ Mineral Barstow (or will need to paint the green plastic which the former leave exposed), add front and rear cameras maybe. Topeak Flashstand Fat Bike Stand and hard case to hold for storage / transport. Hard-sided 26" wheel storage bag or improvise hard side panels?

Tidalforce component list: Shimano Deore XT M771 Derailleur, Shimano XTR brakes, FSA Gossamer 30/38/52 tooth crank set, RockShox Tora 302 Forks, Cane Creek Thudbuster ST seat suspension and Alex DX32 Downhill Trail Rims.

Ergon GP1 Neo Grips did not work out --- plastic clamp. Brooks Cambium C15 saddle did not work out, less comfortable than the Bontrager.

Last step: consider fairing, possibly Brooks Saddles D-Shaped Tool Bag

Agreed! After just getting mine on the road I'm already looking to lighten up.

Amazing job putting it all together! Im in the beginning stages of setting up an older Paratrooper and going with a Green/Brown combo and looking for a MolleFrame that will suit it. Great ideas here!

Thanks! I need to lighten it a bit by reducing some of the redundancy --- hoping that switching to titanium and plastic fasteners will help in that.
