Top of the line model of 1979. Interestingly, Motobecane top model was usually (in the USA) equipped with Campagnolo parts, while this one is a European versoin, sporting the top French components of the time, with a drillium Stronglight crank, Huret Success Titanium rear derailleur and Weinmann brakes. Named 'C5' in Europe for year 1979 and ‘C51’ for 1980, it's American twin, also sporting a top end Columbus SL lugged frame, is named 'Team Champion', and was often but not always equipped with Campagnolo components.
