Saw this thing in its original form at an estate sale for $30 this winter and ignored it....a few weeks later the same sale was happening again for some reason, went in...decided why not, it had suntour mighty shifters on it and looked kinda cool so i talked them down to $12. got it in my van and fell in love. easily the oldest production "mountain bike" i've ever seen, built in may 1981. i know its a murray but its hard not to love the thing. even at over 35 pounds its still fun to ride. I've simplified it quite a bit, making it a single-speed with just a rear brake because it was kinda screaming BMX cruiser. pretty fun and stops on a dime, surprisingly enough.
