hell yeah...added to favorites. currently planning on doing something similar for a bridgestone mb3 I just picked up for almost nothing.

Thanks man. Still not done with her though. I plan on building up a more practical wheelset for this bike, currently love the way they ride along with the tires, but I feel a 32 front & rear spoke count wheelset would be so much more practical. Not to mention over all more durable.

Yo about your tire clearance and fender issue, you may be able to find some small wooden fenders that don't take up a lot of space in your frame. I've seen a guy fit 35s with those type of fenders into an old schwinn voyageur

Would really like to stick to a nice set of alloy fenders to compliment the bike, wooden fenders just look kinda silly IMO.
