Hi! I know I'm 3 years late but saw this image when googling Pompino setups as I'm building mine. Yours is a gorgeous build, I still wonder the killer looks despite having mudguards. I have a similar raw version (v4), just wondering how yours has a slightly polished look especially on the fork, have you created this polish by yourself or did they sell this type of frames at some point? Also the welding seams have that cool "burned" effect, what's the story behind them? I only have a matt grey finish without such "burn" marks.

Cheers!

Hey! Not late at all though the bike has changed quite a bit. The slightly polished look is stock from the factory and it indeed has the burnt welding marks. It's basically just a clear coat over a polished steel - no paint whatsoever. That also means it collects patina a fair bit faster, which is very cool but maybe not everyone's cup of tea. I'll try to put a newer photo as well
