Always liked this a bit unusual frame and today I brought one home. It is in pretty good conditions. Previous owners never rode it off the velodrome. Information from Orbea: "(...)The tubing is Columbus Lobular which is a tubeset designed by Columbus in conjunction with Orbea. We're the only company that has used that tubing. It is a 7000 series aluminum that has been drawn and shaped to improve power transfer at the bottom bracket (thus the oval shape at the top of the down tube chainging (sic) shape and flatting out at the bottom bracket). The wing at the head tube is to improve stiffness of the front end since track racers generally put a lot of force into the handlebar while steering.(...)" source: https://velospace.org/node/14881
