For what it's worth, I actually think that this particular Alex wheel isn't so bad. Haven't needed to true it in a year, bladed spokes, sealed cartridge bearings, they are just heavy.

added "carbon" fork (eh, it has an aluminum steerer and drops, but it was $30 brand new), Sweet-Sixteen wheel has been re-purposed for cyclocross duty so I tossed an Alex on the front.
